In between, the can can also be fed as a meal, provided that otherwise a sufficient, regular nutrient supply is guaranteed .

More info from & about the feed makers:
For many BARFER is the can THE vacation alternative. For four-legged friends who only get wet food, it is anyway the first choice.
Since the cans are cooked, it is not BARF. Here there is confusion from time to time! However, we use in the can production the same meat with the same quality, which we use for our BARF. So no leftovers. Can close and off into the autoclave. Once the cans have reached a core temperature of 123.0 ° C, they are cooled gently. Thus the cans are durable without artificial additives up to two years.
The cans are made of thin tinplate and are almost infinitely recyclable.
Bächle GmbH has its roots in the trading of hides for leather production. This area was expanded in the mid-60s to include rind and bone trading for the gelatin industry. At the beginning of the 80's the business field was extended by the meat trade. In 1984 our feed maker Barf was born out of this.
The rest is basically history, because otherwise you wouldn't be reading these lines right now. We like short distances. Since we produce in the heart of the Black Forest, we have everything around us: fruit and vegetables from Lake Constance and Ortenau, and meat from Arlberg to Alsace. If that's not enough, one of our drivers brings a load back to us from all over Germany. "You never go to the kitchen or the cellar empty." Same principle!
