There are many product tests - also for dog food!

  1. Trick: Der Herausgeber des Tests
    • Before you even look at a test, you should look at the IMPRINT of the website.
    • If the company is located outside of Germany, Austria or Switzerland - a purchased tester from abroad is often behind it. Caution is advised!
  2. Trick: Affiliate Marketing
Prima, so weit so gut.
  3. Trick: The test criteria
    • Take a look at the test criteria by which the feed achieved the top marks.
    • Often a food gets point deductions because, for example, the font on the packaging is too small. Of course, this says nothing about the quality of the food itself.
    • Test criteria for "purchased" tests are usually set in such a way that the client's products achieve top marks.
  4. Trick: The unclean comparison in the declaration!
    • Make sure that the same ingredients are really compared with each other. For example, in the case of dried food, is the proportion of dried meat indicated or the proportion of fresh meat before drying.
    • In the production of our dry food KALTER HUND , the proportion of fresh meat in the wet mixture, that is, before drying, is about 70% meat. After drying, the proportions have changed and therefore 29% dried meat is indicated.
  5. Trick: Protein or meat?

  3. We take much meat - before drying approx. 65-70%!
    • And meat means meat and not just "protein", which in many products can mean ground skins, claws , feathers, beaks or hooves.
  4. Always monoprotein!
    • We reject a mixture of several meat sources for cost reasons.
    • Only one protein source per meal makes digestion and utilization easier for the dog.
  5. We take enough Vegetables & Herbs!
    • Why? Not to save money, but to provide the four-legged friend with sufficient natural vitamins and secondary plant substances. In addition, the raw fiber nourishes the intestinal flora and thus strengthens the immune system.
  6. We let COLD DOG in Germany according to own recipe produce!
    • In this way, we can sufficiently ensure quality and also be on site quickly in person.
  7. The energy for the production is obtained from the producer's own hydropower ecologically sustainable on site!
    • The body can absorb and utilize the nutrients in their natural form at the very best.
    • The ingredients of the formulation are gently mixed and formed into pellets by in the matrix.
    • This is done thanks to a specially developed cooling process completely the use of high temperatures and without steam.
  9. Why is the dry food COLD DOG Not extruded manufactured?
    • Because many extruded dry dog foods lack especially the important secondary plant substances.
    • These are responsible for a lot of health-promoting aspects.
    • Among other things, they have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and cell-protective effects.
    • Cold dog - natural food dry food improves the quality of life of your dog!
  10. What are all the ingredients good for?
    • Milk thistle seed: has an antioxidant effect, the contained sylmarin protects the liver and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
    • Tagetes flowers: are rich in carotenoids or luteins - for a good immune system.
    • Moor: supports digestion and strengthens the immune system, binds harmful substances in the intestine and supports intestinal activity
    • Chicory: naturally antimicrobial and antiparasitic, protecting the feed.
    • Yucca Schidigera: Reduces ina natural way a fungal and bacterial growth in the feed and has a digestive effect. It also helps flush out harmful substances in the stomach and intestines, thereby relieving the liver and kidneys.
    • Beet pulp: Beet pulp consists of pressed beets. The fiber it contains is beneficial for good digestion!
    • Vitamin E: Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat-soluble vitamin and also has a valuable antioxidant effect. When the food oxidizes, it spoils. Unsaturated fatty acids are destroyed and the fat becomes rancid. In addition, vitamin E is the great protector of vitamin A (retinol).

For a truly balanced diet, the dog usually needs something more than "just" meat and vegetables - for example, milk thistle seeds (has antioxidant effects, the contained sylmarin protects the liver and has an anti-inflammatory effect) or chicory (naturally antimicrobial and antiparasitic) .

--> In addition, it is also equally important that the dry food is cold-pressed, because otherwise important ingredients are destroyed during production.

--> Grains such as wheat, oats, naked oats or similar definitely do not belong in the feed.
